LATEST: Former bassist Louis (formerly Fabienne) wants to sue us for the
right to use the name Raxola. Therefore, we wanna thanks our billions fans
who have made that name so famous, as to become a so valuable case to fight
for!
No question Roger Waters and David Gilmour should take advice!
Cheerfully grateful,
Raxola, the Band.
::: July 2007 :::

USA by Radio Heartbeat. Check their website for news.

::: February 2007 :::
Before to release the new album, here comes a live album of 6 songs,
recorded during summer 2005, while touring in England and Belgium. «
Live in O’Five » contains a mix of old and new songs and marks Raxola’s
move from primitive punk to our current trend. Available as from
February 15 by Diskunion (Japan), Goner Records (USA) and on this website.
::: December 2006 :::
We finished the recordings for our new album. 9 songs ready to be
released. We are now busy with the artwork. Well, we are very happy with
the result and some of our new songs open unexpected ways for the
future. On the last minute we added a cover of Billy Bragg’s « Between the wars ».
::: November 2006 :::
Hadri and Dave are fuckin' messin' with their side band Spleen Sisters
and have missed the last recordings. Never mind, they have been replaced
by Philemon Noirret and Alain Goutier for the sessions, with Fabrizio
Manzini's adding some guitars. Quite good stuff out of these days.

March 2006 :::
Good
news for our US friends : our records are now available into the
States
thanks to Goner Records, in Memphis (Tennessee). Sounds posh as
poshible.

Meanwhile, we are recording new songs at DeStudio in Belgium.
Some will say
this is no more punk rock; we don¹t care. We play music and
our spirit
remains the same.
We added some more recent demos to download on our website; this
is rough
material recorded into live conditions, just for collectors. http://www.raxola.net/EN/download_live.html
::: January 2006 :::
Good news : our « historic » album is distributed
into the USA by Goner Records. Please check our discography page
to know more : http://www.raxola.net/EN/discography.html.
We
launched a « marketing » action to find strong partnerships
for our next future : a label for the album, a booking agency
and may be a management agent. We selected some 35 « target
contacts ». Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us
shoud we have forget… you ! (You’ll know shortly if
you’re into the list.)

December 2005 :::
Raxola has recorded studio material into « Déstudio
» (Asse, Belgium). « Son of a Bitch » and «
The Idiot Song » has been written by Yke very recently and
set some trends for the album we plan to release next september.
At this occasion we pushed Dave ahead as lead singer. The result
sounds good an it may lead to a new evolution within the band’s
future. It opens ways to improve the backing vocals work, also
giving Yke more comfort to play guitar and allowing Dave to express
his hunger to be a showman. If we go on this way a new member
would take over Dave’s drummer’s seat very soon.

November 2005 :::
We made sessions at Studio Z in Brussels into « live »
conditions. The aim was to capture the feeling of the hard work
we did since the new lineup has been set. Some of the new tracks
are not exactly what punk fundamentalists wait for. But to tell
the truth we just wanna play the music we like, not to be stored
into categories which would limit our creative freedom. Songs
such as « Paranoïzed », « The Idiot Song
» and « Back on Wild » are much representative
of that trend.

September 2005 :::
Well we’re back from England where we have played our first
UK gigs ever. For us it was an unique chance to have confrontation
with local scene bands. No doubt now that we can make it there.
Plans
to record our 2005 work had to be cancelled coz Dave has to move
for a while. Sessions are now set for november and december.
