::: Punks Against Blair :::

Is Tony Blair a socialist ? No, claims the Punks Against Blair group, a bunch of politically aware punk bands and promoters. The « New » Labour government have deceived hopes for a more social England, after Blair took over office in a country shattered by 18 years of thatcherism. Disappointment escaladed, especially due to British involvement in Bush’s Iraqi war for power and oil. The PxAxB group calls for every listener to be aware of the great need of a strong socialist base to build upon a fairer future that is socially responsible and free of transnational corporations’ claws. Believe it or not : this is today’s punk message. Of course, Raxola is part of the movement. Swallow prejudice and get into the move !

Ray Cooper crafts fantastic custom made guitars. To see the finest axe I've ever played, click on "custom guitars", then "gallery" and scroll the left column down to the 3d picture, the "Olympic" style one. It really blows !
Cheers, Ray.

This is the homepage of our first producer Firmin Michiels. Never mind the blank: that's where spirits flows. To tell the truth, Raxola wasn't exactly what Philips used to release at the time. But Firmin really wanted to make it within Belgian punk wave: so he did with Raxola and the Kids, against all odds. He gave us our chance. Wham bam, thank you, man.

Odieu, a frenchspeaking howler and singer, doesn't like to be benchmarked with Jacques Brel; he feels himself closer to Tom Waits. He took part in the lyrics of Thalidomide Child, the insane underground Raxola's "two notes hit" in 1978. Incidentally Odieu is Yke's brother, but who cares?
